Bolo is a candy-gas indica-leaning hybrid built on Runtz bones — Gelato cream crossed with Zkittlez fruit — then selected for denser nugs, deeper purple, and a heavier backend than your average rainbow candy cut. Y’all get that familiar sweet jar pop first, then cherries, grapes, tropical zest, and a creamy cookie-kush tail that tells you this is not just dessert fluff. The smoke is smoother than the numbers suggest, the high lifts the mood quick, and about twenty minutes later the body takes the wheel without putting y’all all the way on the couch unless you keep packing.

Crack the jar and Bolo does what the name promises. First wave is confection shop — powdered sugar, Fun Dip stick, candied citrus, ripe cherry and red grape — then the Gelato side rolls in with cream, cookie dough, and a faint mint-kush gas. Break a nug and that candy gets louder, with a nutty earthy gelato finish that keeps it from smelling like straight kids cereal.

The buds look like money. Medium to hard density, hybrid structure, lime-to-forest green with dark purple splashes, messy rustic orange pistils, and a near-white trichome crust that comes off on your fingers. Some phenos go almost black-purple if the nights ran cool. Sticky, greasy frost, not sandy.

Light it and the inhale is sweet earthy gas with candy underneath — cherries, grapes, citrus, cream, a whisper of mint. Combustion brings out the Cookie and Kush side, so the exhale is candy-infused earth that hangs on the tongue. Joints and blunts smoke relatively smooth, leave a light-to-medium silver ash, and throw that instant resin ring if the cure is right. A little chest oomph compared with lighter Runtz cuts, but it stays clean if the grower did their job.

Smoking experience is biphasic. First five to fifteen minutes y’all get the Runtz head: mood up, colors a little prettier, conversation easier, that “this song slaps” feeling. Then the indica backbone walks in through the shoulders and eyelids. Not a full knockout unless you overdo it, more like the day finally lets go. Munchies show up honest. Good for post-work wind-down, a porch session, movies, or easing Bakersfield stress without disappearing from the room. Daytime only if your tolerance is already high and you keep the dose small.
